Reporting Damage or Requesting Repairs
You should report damages or repairs needed to any portion of University Housing facility by submitting a request through an online FIX-IT web form

Maintenance requests are handled according to priority. Emergency and critical areas are given top priority. Non-critical requests are handled in the order in which they are received. Maintenance requests which are made late in the day or on weekends may not receive attention until the following workday. In case of a repair that needs immediate attention, contact Public safety or a Hall Staff member.

In September 2007 University Housing began utilizing a new system for submitting and routing university housing repair requests called FIX-IT. As a consequence a new web-based submission form for residents of University Housing is being deployed.

  • The new web based form will help facilities collect and route repair requests more efficiently. Additionally, by gathering more accurate and complete problem descriptions Facilities personnel will be able to locate and resolve problems more quickly.

 

  • Our mission is to help plan, create, and maintain an environment conducive to comfortable living and learning, while meeting our needs for well-being and growth. This is an evolving system. Please feel free to leave any suggestions you have on ways we can improve the process after the problem description on the fit-it repair request form. We thank you for your patience through this transition period.
