Employee Assistance Program

The California Maritime Academy provides its employees with a free, confidential counseling and referral services program designed to help employees, their household and dependent family members resolve personal problems—problems that may be interfering with their work or home life. Access to PacifiCare Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by calling (800) 234-5465 or visiting www.pbhi.com password: help. An EAP specialist will listen carefully to your concern or issue and help you assess the situation and suggest ways to resolve the problem. Depending on the need, employees may be referred to a licensed/certified counselor, provided telephone legal counseling, and/or be referred to community resources. Because the EAP is primarily an assessment and referral service, employees and their household and dependent family members, are limited to three contacts per incident.
