FranklinCovey’s "Leadership
Foundations® - A Workshop for
Emerging Leaders"
Leadership Foundations is a one-day
workshop that helps organizations
prepare future leaders to take on larger
roles and responsibilities through a
foundation of practical skills, useful
tools, and proven principles. Through
the framework of FranklinCovey’s 4
Imperatives of Great Leaders, individual
contributors and informal leaders will
gain a foundation of leadership skills
and become better prepared to fill the
void created by leaders retiring from
the workforce in coming years.
Drawn from the best thinking of global
leadership experts, Leadership
Foundations prepares future leaders for
the challenges—and opportunities—of
leading in the Knowledge Age. It
recognizes that the rising generation of
workers has different expectations, has
different capabilities, and can get
dramatically better results than
previous generations if their unique
talents can be unleashed by a great
leader.
Leadership Foundations
is part of a
student’s co-curricular programming for
professional development training (one
of the six pillars of our leadership
development program) where the following
learning outcomes are realized by
utilizing all four leadership learning
opportunities – leadership education,
leadership training, leadership
development, and leadership engagement.
Learning Outcomes:
-
How to improve trust and influence
with peers and superiors.
-
How to link daily tasks to a clear
and compelling team purpose.
-
How to implement a system for
executing on critical priorities.
-
How to leverage the talents of peers
to accomplish unprecedented results.
