Council
Objective:
To conduct voluntary
training in basic leadership
theory, traits, and practice
to Cal Maritime student
leaders.
Mission:
For the member organizations
(Athletics, ASCMA, Corps of
Cadets, and Resident
Assistance) to work toward a
common goal of improving the
values and professionalism
of cadets at Cal Maritime.
Goals:
(1) Bridge the gap
between the various
constituencies
(2) Be initiators and
creators for the future.
Develop recommendations for
the future and not just
manage current conflicts.
Present ideas and
recommendations to the
Administration.
(3) Communicate and
inform others within each
constituency of common goals
and objectives.
(4) Ensure constituencies
are accountable for
completing assigned
improvements.
(5)
Improve pride at CMA and the
quality of the experience.
