Power Lab
Vision -
A facility for studies in the practical
application of engineering technology to
electrical and mechanical power generation.
Operational diesel, gas turbine, and steam
engines fully instrumented to support
the performance of heat balance and efficiency
calculations.
The Power Laboratory also
houses static displays of power generating
equipment and could serve as an industry
showcase for alternative energy solutions.
The facility
has been developed through the generous support
of numerous alumni and industrial partners.
