The Cal Maritime Story
The California Maritime Academy is a unique campus of the California State University (CSU), located in Vallejo, CA. Cal Maritime students receive a education consisting of a mixture of classroom instruction, hands-on experience, international travel, and professional development. Cal Maritime is not a military campus. Graduates are prepared for successful careers in engineering, maritime policy, international business and logistics, technology, or in the maritime and transportation industries.
The only maritime academy on the West Coast, Cal Maritime is a leading education institution recognized for excellence in the business, engineering, operations, and policies of transportation and related industries of the Pacific Rim and beyond.
Mission Statement
The mission of Cal Maritime is to provide each student with a quality college education combining Intellectual Learning, Applied Technology, Leadership Development, and Global Awareness.
Cal Maritime will accept fall 2008 applications for admission beginning October 1 through November 30, 2007 (priority period). Applications received after December 1, 2007 will be considered (based on space availability).
