Disclaimer

The Nikki Hospice Foundation for Pets can neither endorse nor recommend any of the veterinarians or burial service providers listed in its databases. It is the pet owner's responsibility to find suitable animal care professionals or pet cemeteries that will meet individual needs. By asking veterinarians and burial service providers to supply us with their medical license numbers or business license numbers, we are merely ensuring that they operate a legitimate practice or business under state and/or federal laws. Pet owners who wish to ascertain the reputation, professional training, and/or background of such veterinarians or pet cemeteries are advised to contact their local Better Business Bureau or the Veterinary Licensing Board in their state. The Nikki Hospice Foundation for Pets cannot be held liable for any problems incurred by pet owners in conjunction with their choice of a veterinarian or burial service provider. Furthermore, it cannot be named as a party in any malpractice suit resulting from improper administration of medication or from improper implementation (or non-observance) of hospice care procedures, nor can it be named as a party in any lawsuit resulting from inadequate or substandard burial services, improper burial procedures or inferior burial products.
