Dear Supporters of Cal Maritime:
On
Friday, September 12, 2008, The Board of
Directors of The California Maritime Academy
Foundation will host the 10th
Annual California Maritime Academy Foundation
Invitational Golf Classic. The tournament,
which this year will be held at Hiddenbrooke
Golf Club in Vallejo, raises greatly needed
scholarship funds for Cal Maritime cadets.
Last
year's tournament received major sponsorship
support from such companies as BayDelta
Maritime, Chartwell's University and College
Dining Services, Chevron, DMJM Harris, Foss
Maritime, Harley Marine Services, Port of
Oakland, TESORO, Transmarine Navigation, and Van
Pelt Construction Services.
This
year's tournament committee is committed to
increasing the event's sponsorship support,
which will help strengthen Cal Maritime's
capacity for producing the skilled workforce
that the transportation and related industries
need to compete and success in a global economy
in the years ahead.
On
