Vessel Operations
DATE: May 6, 2006

Darkness is fast approaching! While the horizon is
still visible, deck cadets Osborn and McKay use the ship's
gyro compass to determine the bearing of a few select
navigational stars. The result of this effort will be an
8:00 pm star fix that will provide the navigator with a
position to plot the vessel's course for the next four
hours.
