Weather Info
DATE: May 13, 2006
As we continue onward to arrival in
Balboa, Panama, we can expect to encounter overcast
conditions much like those we encountered today, with
expected isolated moderate to strong thundershowers tonight
and tomorrow morning. All celestial observers and barbeque
cowboys can thank the inter-tropic convergence zone for
tomorrow’s less than ideal atmospheric conditions.
Temperatures will continue to hover in the mid to upper
eighties for the next few days and sea swell is expected to
remain unchanged, around 1 m in height out of the south.
Winds will be variable in direction 20 kts. or less.
Meteorologist: Backes and Davison

Fair weather cumulus and stratocumulus clouds, coded CL
8 when we transmit weather reports, make for another
tropical sunset.
