All students are reminded that the Bear’s Tale is an official way of spreading information throughout the ship.  It is a personal responsibility to read it every day.

If you are going to throw away an expended Aerosol can or dead batteries make sure to throw them away in the correct receptacle on the Fantail.  There are two cans underneath the overhang on the fantail that are designated for these two items.  Quite a few aerosol cans have ended up in the plastic bins in the trash room.

Laundry:  Each laundry soap bucket now has a laundry scoop to be used to provide you with the amount necessary for our type of machines.  Please use them (one scoop per load) and also please remember to move the scoop to the new laundry soap bucket when the old one is empty.

If you do not have a PORT PASS, you need to see the Purser at 1900 on Friday, 18 May, in the Ship’s Office.

We are expecting sign-up and pay type of tours to the ruins, city, and surrounding islands.  Most tours will have minimum numbers to attend.  Remember, if you sign up and pay, you are committing to go.  Once you pay - if you can’t go, you’ll need to find someone to take your spot.  You will be refunded only if the tour is cancelled.  ASCMA and the Captain are also looking at subsidizing some of the tour costs.

Tours will most likely leave at 0900 or 1000, therefore, don’t sign up and pay for a tour unless you are in the liberty division.
