PERU

While in Peru there were tours aboard the ship; here, students and faculty from Peru's Maritime academy pose with some of our own cadets after their tour.  Photo courtesy of Scott Saarheim.

 

A reception was held on the Golden Bear on the third night of the visit to Peru:

A select group of cadets were invited to attend the reception and meet embassy officials.  In these two photos, cadets pose with the United States Ambassador to Peru.

Doubling as bartenders the Chief Mate, Dan Lintz, and Chief Day Mate, Dan Weinstock, serve beer, wine and the signature drink of Peru, pisco sours.
