Overcast conditions with a slight chance of precipitation will persist for the next couple of days. Visibility will be around 6 nm. Seas will be out of the S SW 12 feet or less winds less than 20 kts.

Being at anchorage, we are unable to make water, so please everything you can to conserve water, now and in the coming days.  Laundries will continue to remain closed until enough make-up water has been made.

3/C Deck Cadets – Due to our extended schedule today and the beginning of a new rotation at midnight, the mandatory meeting originally scheduled for tonight (Thursday) is now scheduled for Friday evening, June 2, at 1900 in Ericcson classroom.

 

3/C Engine Cadets – 1900 this evening in Ericcson classroom – review of your last PT exam.

 

Comdt’s Corner

The second session of the LPI will be held at 1900 on Friday, 2 Jun 06, in Bowditch classroom.

 

Corps Corner

·  Captain’s Mast is scheduled for 1830 on 3 June in the Asst Comdt’s Office.  Notices were delivered to Div Coms this morning.

·  Bed Rest:  As per the cruise handbook, if you are sick or injured, you MUST report to sickbay immediately.  When you report to sickbay, you may be issued bed rest.  Only those cadets who have been issued bed rest may be excused from assigned daily activities.

·  24 Hr Watches:  If you are assigned a 24-hour watch, you are excused from quarters.  Please make sure you read the Bear’s Tale to find out what was passed.

·  There is a severe water shortage due to the usage in port and our inability to make water today. We all need to conserve water more now than ever.

·  There is a bag of laundry from the 02 aft laundry and Lower Berthing levels. Stop by Mr. Kazek’s office to claim them, or they will be turned into rags.

·  Today’s scheduled drill has been postponed until Saturday, 3 Jun.

·   N1-Jacket – missing the second from bottom button – last seen on bow for Peru tie-up.  If you have, please return to Cadet Backes.

·   Black Spyderco knife, Rescue 79 mm, full serrated blade, please return to Garrett Anderson if you found

·   Purple nalgene bottle w/ sun & moon sticker on it.  If found, please return to April Graybill.

·   20 gb Ipod w/ leather covering, contact Zach Denning if found

·   Olympus digital camera misplaced on the ship.  If found, please return to ships office or Luis (Ricky) Navarrete
