Drill Briefing – 1830 Friday

All E-squad Cadets, SCBA Firefighters, Cadets Campbell, Alexander, Asdulla, Schindler, Andros and Glasser are required to attend. All other E-squad cadets are invited to attend.  All E-squad Limitations and Repair Parity PIC’s, your presence is requested.  Ericcson classroom at 1830.

1/C Deckies – Due to weather concerns, I have eased the celestial program pre-test-out submission requirements.  I have placed test out forms for those now eligible in the out box, which will be distributed by the day navigator.  If the weather continues to be a problem, the program may be further modified, but please avail your self of every available opportunity, including AM stars.  2/M

ASCMA – Scary Movie Friday, tonight in Pirate’s Cove.  Free popcorn and chex mix!  2000 tonight!

Comdt’s Corner

The second session of the LPI will be held at 1900 tonight, 2 Jun 06, in Bowditch classroom.

Corps Corner

·  Captain’s Mast is scheduled for 1830 on 3 June in the Asst Comdt’s Office.  Notices were delivered to Div Coms yesterday morning.

·  The laundries are now open; however we still need to continue to conserve water.

·  There is a bag of laundry from the 02 aft laundry and Lower Berthing levels. Stop by Mr. Kazek’s office to claim them, or they will be turned into rags.  Last call.

·  There will be a meeting for all underclass MTs in Erickson classroom at 1900 tonight.  Those MTs on watch or that have Mr Kazek’s LPI class are excused – there will be a make up session, time to be announced.

·  All e-squad members have a drill pre-brief tonight in Ericson at 1830 and a drill de-brief tomorrow in Ericson at 1830.

·  At 2030, 3 Jun, in Miller classroom, there will be a meeting for all 1/C MT’s who were boat coxswains in Zihuatanejo.

·  Underclass PT results, round 2:  Congrats to Division 4 for holding their lead with an average score of 78.7%.  Div 6 was a close second with 77.1%.

·  Underclass mess drink dispensers:  Someone has been tampering with the electrical side of the juice machine and the water side of all the machines.  While this is not only dangerous, it does nothing for the normal operation of the machines.  If they break, the engineers do not have the parts to fix them.  Treat them with respect – if they don’t work correctly, let the galley staff or MAA know – don’t try to fix them yourselves.

·  With the type of sea were in, we all have a responsibility to look for gear that is not secured for sea and secure it for sea so someone doesn’t get hurt.  In addition, please refrain from hanging on or over the rails on the 04 deck aft house…one bad roll and...
