Weather Info

DATE: June 2, 2006

Rain and drizzle will continue with overcast to scattered clouds.  Winds will prevail from the south to south east with a wind speed of twenty knots or less.  Expect increased wave height up to 15ft and a long rolling period.  Visibility will continue to be limited to 2-3 nm during showers.  Mets:  Asdulla, Begley, Spath

Fifteen foot seas heap up behind cadets Asdulla, Spath and Begley. The seas never look as big on film as they do in real life.

The ship in a roll as we make our way North in 12 to 15ft. seas. This roll does not look like much but it is enough to slide plates off of tables and make for an uncomfortable night of sleep.
