WEATHER FORECAST

Today’s weather observations have produced promising results for cloud gazers.  Yes, to see the stars, you will have to see through the clouds.  Put your sextant away and pull up a seat in the lounge.  Winds will be dissipating, but swells are likely to remain the same.  A thin layer of marine overcast is likely to persist for at least the next two to three days if not more.  We can anticipate Costa Rica to be something along the warm and damp side due to the inter-tropical convergence zone being parked over Costa Rica.  Enjoy the mud.

(Winds 20 kts. and decreasing, S’ly seas 8 to 10 feet gradually decreasing as we progress north)

Last Day for Triathlon is Wednesday, the 7th!

Corps Corner

·  Underclass mess drink dispensers:  Someone has been tampering with the electrical side of the juice machine and the water side of all the machines.  While this is not only dangerous, it does nothing for the normal operation of the machines.  If they break, the engineers do not have the parts to fix them.  Treat them with respect – if they don’t work correctly, let the galley staff or MAA know – don’t try to fix them yourselves.

o The juice machine in the upperclass mess is now electrically tagged out and is not available for use.

·  As a reminder, overheads in rooms are not to be used for storage.  Access to the overhead is only conducted with the permission of the C/M or C/E.  Using the overheads as storage areas is a serious safety and fire hazard.
