Weather Info

DATE: June 09, 2006

For the rest of tonight and tomorrow we will be expecting southwesterly swells of 7-8 ft. Winds will be coming from the southwest at 15 kts or less with a slight increase over the next few days. Overcast skies will continue with the potential for showers, squalls, and thunderstorms as a series of tropical waves sweep over the region. Tropical waves are disturbances in the east to west current of air that circles the equatorial region. Unsettled weather will be likely for the next several days.

Expect cloudy, squally conditions upon arrival in Cocos.
