Weather Info

DATE: June 12, 2006

The Intertropical Convergent Zone is currently East of our position. For tomorrow’s arrival we can expect South swells between 6-7 feet and Southwest winds 8-12 kts. For our stay in Golfito, Costa Rica we can expect fair weather with series of weak tropical disturbances passing overhead. As these tropical disturbances pass over Golifito, the main areas of showers form behind the wave. This will result in periods of fair weather on the Western side of the disturbances and followed by periods of showers and thunderstorms on the Eastern side and the cycle will continue for our entire stay in Golifito. Relative humidity will be in the high with temperatures between 82°F during the day and  66°F in the eve.
