Cal Maritime Faculty/Staff:
Global Opportunities
Global awareness
comprises one of the
cornerstones of the mission of Cal
Maritime. The Academy provides
many formal and informal occassions each
semester for faculty and staff to engage
issues of global significance. The Training Ship Golden Bear
also offers many faculty and staff the opportunity to visit
different countries across the Pacific
Rim.
At present, global
opportunities for Cal Maritime faculty
and staff emanate from two
different sources: participation in the CSU International Program, affiliated
with over fifty different universities
in eighteen countries; and partnerships
with other maritime universities through
memoranda establishing an exchange
program. More information on these
