Cal Maritime Students:
Exchange & Study Abroad
Global awareness
comprises one of the
cornerstones of the mission of Cal
Maritime, and this objective is met in
numerous ways. Studies in globalization
and the knowledge of other peoples and
places are taught in a variety of
courses and the Training Ship Golden Bear
offers students the opportunity to visit
different countries across the Pacific
Rim, and there exist channels by which
students may pursue their academic
interests at universities around the
world.
At present,
study-abroad opportunities for Cal
Maritime students emanate from two
different sources: participation in the
CSU International Program, affiliated
with over fifty different universities
in eighteen countries; and partnerships
with other maritime universities through
memoranda establishing an exchange
program. More information on these
