Welcome to the Cal Maritime Financial Aid Office web pages. As part of Cal Maritime’s Student Services Department, the Financial Aid Office is dedicated to providing services to help you during your college career. Current Students: We will be sending important information to you by mail as well as email. Please make sure both addresses are current on the Self Service website. Important financial aid information, including information about workshops and scholarships, will be sent to you through your CSUM e-mail. Please check it regularly.

Mission Statement

The Financial Aid Department provides financial assistance and guidance through appropriate communication and learning activities that empower our students to fulfill their academic aspirations. As members of the CSUM community, we collaborate with other campus departments and the community through partnerships to provide outreach and access services, scholarship resources and educational work experiences to our student population. We will strive to teach responsibility through loan counseling and budget workshops while requiring satisfactory academic progress to promote responsible citizenship.

Financial Aid usually receives a heavy volume of telephone calls at the beginning of each semester.

The Financial Aid Department is located in the Career Center / Financial Aid Modular located between Rizza Auditorium and the gym. Office hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
