New Dining Center
Located at the West end of the Academy campus, the new California Maritime Academy Dining Commons replaces an existing food service facility, while adding programs that contribute to the quality of student life and support community outreach. With sweeping views of the Carquinez Straits and a westward panorama towards San Francisco Bay, the dining commons site is breathtaking and beautiful.
On June 5, 2012, campus dignitaries and construction representatives official broke ground on the new building. Full construction activities commenced on June 18, 2012. The facility is expected to be ready for service in 2013.
