Cal Maritime provides health and wellness programs, education, and resources that enable faculty and staff to enhance their overall well being allowing them to be productive at their "home" away from home. We encourage you to set goals and we support you in meeting them.
Auatics/Athletic Center - Faculty and staff are encouraged to use the sports facility if interested in physical activity.The gym is a campus resource to improve overall health and fitness. Activities include weight room, pool and fitness room (which is equipped with treadmills, stair masters, ellipticals, bicycles, and rowing machines).
Campus Intramurals and Recreation - Faculty and staff are eligible to participate in campus recreation programs, including intramural league sports and tournaments.
10,000 Steps - Step into 2015! It is easy as 1,2,3... Walking is one of the easiest and most profitable forms of exercise. All you need is a good pair of shoes, comfortable clothing, and desire. And the best part of it all is that you can go at your own pace.
Physical Activity Diary - Regular physical activity helps to improve your overall health and fitness, and reduces your risk for many chronic diseases.
