Mission
The mission of University Planning and Capital Development is to provide effective planning, and management oversight of design and construction for campus facilities improvement projects; to oversee the long-range master plan and campus environment; and to plan for the future growth of the campus to accommodate enrollment and academic program changes.
The department provides support for all activities related to the Campus Master Plan, Space Management, Major and Minor Capital Outlay projects, Deferred Maintenance projects, and Capital Renewal projects in addition to maintaining the campus Space and Facilities Database (SFDB), which is instrumental in the justification of capital project programming.
