(Vallejo, California – May 26, 2017) – Students from California State University Maritime Academy will be sailing the Training Ship Golden Bear to Honolulu on Wednesday, May 30. The ship will arrive at the Honolulu Pilot Station at approximately 3:00 p.m. before docking at the Aloha Tower complex, on Pier 9. The area is open to the public and can be accessed by walking through the Aloha Tower complex or along Pier 8 on the Diamond Head side.

ABOUT CAL MARITIME
Established in 1929, California State University Maritime Academy is the only degree-granting
maritime academy on the West Coast. Located in Vallejo, California, the campus serves
nearly 1,000 students and offers undergraduate degrees preparing students for careers
in engineering, transportation, international relations, business, and global logistics.
The new oceanography degree program launched in the fall of 2020. Cal Maritime also
