The Office of Residence Life is excited for you to be here at Cal Maritime!  Our team is made up of Professional Coordinator Staff and Residence Hall Officers (RHOs) who are here to assist with your residential experience. Our work and daily goals are reflected in our Mission Statement, Vision, and Values. 

Mission Statement: The Office of Housing & Residential Life, under the leadership of the division of Student Affairs, will promote student success, excellence, diversity, and responsibility through intentional and inclusive co-curricular activities, services, programs, and opportunities designed to support the missions of Student Affairs and Cal Maritime. 

Vision: In support of the mission of Cal Maritime, we strive to utilize student development theories and practices to educate, encourage and instruct Cal Maritime students in the basic principles of student and personal development including but not limited to: managing emotions; establishing autonomy and identity; developing competence, mature interpersonal relationships, purpose and integrity.  We seek to provide student experiences that will allow students to develop diverse perspectives, solid decision making skills, meaningful achievement, understanding of multiple roles, self awareness and personal balance.
