Outreach: Groups, Workshops, and Trainings
CAPS provides a wide range of programs and services to members of the Cal Maritime community. The following is a list of our programs and services. Please contact the CAPS Counselor, Dr. Ian Wallace (email@example.com; 707-654-1174) for any service requests that you may have. It is recommended that you submit requests at least 2-3 weeks prior to the program date to allow adequate time to schedule and prepare for the requested program.
This session is offered to individuals or groups, who are members of the Cal Maritime community. In this 15-30 minutes session the CAPS Counselor will present information about the services offered through CAPS and how to access them. During this session, time can also be dedicated to identifying specific service needs of the group that the Counselor can provide programming.
CAPS can provide training to individuals or groups on topics such as developing effective communication skills, constructive management of conflicts, developing interpersonal skills, among others. This service is offered to members of the Cal Maritime Community. The following nationally-recognized trainings are also available and they offer certification of participants:
