UPDATED Cruise Calendar (6.18.21)

6/15/21

ALOHA FAMILY AND FRIENDS!

We have just learned that the Hawaiian Government has granted our request for entry! This is great news, and a tribute to all the hard work done by the CMA Staff, resiliency of cadets, and guidance from many officials near and far as we navigate the complex rules and regulations surrounding COVID travel by ship.

A new calendar will be posted soon, once we have comfirmation of our location, but here is some tentative information:

Port of Call: Honolulu, HI. Berth TBD

Dates: June 28-July2

*Please note these dates, times and location are submit to change at any time based on operational needs and/or berthing availability. We do not recommend trying to coordinate visits with your cadets due to this uncertainty and other restrictions, including classroom and watchstanding requirements.*

More details to come, but thank you for your support and patience throughout this cruise.

Mahalo!

6/5/21

Now that we have had a successful depature from Cal Maritime, please see the Follow the Voyage page for (almost) daily blog postings to see what your cadets are up to!

Please check back here for any urgent news, including arrivals, departures and route changes that may happen while we are underway.

NEXT STOP: LA/Long Beach anchorage tomorrow morning around 8am for a standard propellor cleaning and underwater inspection! This will be a brief, 2-day stop at anchor with no crew changes.

6/1/21

TSGB Departure is scheduled for 8am on Friday, June 4th! This year will look a little different than most. Due to COVID and per our Campus Police Policy, we will not be able to have parent, families and friends at the boat basin for a send off as the Cal Maritime Campus is currently CLOSED to the public.

HOWEVER! For those that want to wave us "Farewell" from the Golden Gate bridge, we should be passing underneath in the 9:30-10:30am timeframe. This is dependent on our Tug, Pilot, and maneuvering that must be done prior to departure, so we cannot guarantee that we will be there at this time (this is our best estimate!).

For more detailed information once we push off, please check the Follow the Voyage blog! Starting on Friday, we will be posting daily updates on how things are going, what's happening on the ship, and where we are located.
