We invite you to spend a morning on the California State University Maritime Academy (Cal Maritime) campus in Vallejo. The program is designed to expose those who counsel high school age students or college transfer students to the unique education offered at "Cal Maritime." We may be part of the CSU system of 23 campuses, but we are, in many ways, unlike any of the other CSU's.
Come see how an academy is different than a traditional college, why 92% of our students have uniforms and structure, but no connection to the military during college or after graduation, why we boast an employment rate of over 90% soon after graduation, why we have amazingly high average starting salaries after graduation, and why we have been consistently ranked as a "Best Value" in higher education. We look forward to seeing you at this free event.
The program will include a complimentary full breakfast, introductory presentation about Cal Maritime, cadet-led tour of our campus, Training Ship GOLDEN BEAR as well as our simulators, and finally, a student panel followed by an optional complimentary lunch.
Directions and Parking - Directions and instructions will be provided one week prior to the event.
Please arrive at 7:30 am in time to park and take a shuttle van to the meeting location and begin the program at the 8:00 am.
