Surf City Aids Ride, OCT 2012: Rode and provided Community Awareness in Support of The Santa Cruz AIDS Project (SCAP). They promote and participate in a comprehensive and compassionate response to HIV and AIDS through education, advocacy, and supportive services. All care services are free, confidential and offered within a non-judgmental environment. Care services include case management, access to medical care, financial assistance, food bank, volunteer support, support groups, and pro bono professional support services.
4th Annual Wheels for Meals Ride, OCT 2012: Rode, provided community awareness, and fund raised to support the elderly. Wheels for Meals: To assist frail, home-bound seniors to maintain their independence by fundraising and providing financial support, community outreach and strategic assistance to Meals on Wheels programs in Alameda County that deliver nutritious meals and perform wellness checks. Rockville Mountain Bike Ride NOV 2012: Took our group out to Rockville Hills Regional Park to ride some very nice, technical mountain biking. We had a nice group and had fun! A shout out to ARC and CMA for providing food and fuel for the trip. It was definitely a fun, healthy event!
China Camp Park Mountain Bike Weekend DEC 2012: Took our group out to China Camp State Park for a weekend of camping and mountain biking. We explored China Camp and Mount Tam, Marin CA. We climbed many hills and had a great team building experience. Major growth curves where noticed by several riders. The weekend was a healthy outdoors experience that provided a nice get away from the intense school year. We even got a chance to study each day. A shout out to Arc and CMA for the support!
