Academic Year Events
Our Dining Center is open to the public for breakfast, lunch and dinner Monday – Friday, and for brunch and dinner Saturday and Sunday during the academic year (with the exception of national holidays). Meals through our Dining Center can be arranged for any conference, meeting or event during the academic calendar. Please coordinate with Conference and Events at least 2-weeks in advance so that we may accurately plan for your arrival.

Summer conference groups at Cal Maritime enjoy meals in our residential dining center as part of their package plan. Standard meal hours during the summer months are as follows:
Breakfast: 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Dinner: 5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Dining Center hours may vary depending on the needs of our summer conference guests. Please contact Conference and Events for more information.
Catered food and beverage options are coordinated directly with Chartwells, our on-campus dining partner. Please contact the Chartwells catering coordinator at (707)-654-1662 or (707)-654-1008 for customized service and menus. More information can be found on their website here
Parking permits are required for all lots on the Cal Maritime campus. Permits are available for purchase at several self-service kiosks located on campus, or the client may purchase permits in advance of the scheduled event date(s). These charges will be added to your Master Bill. If you require advanced parking permits, please contact Conference and Events at least two weeks prior to your event. Permits ordered less than two weeks prior to the event date cannot be returned for a refund.
Current parking rates are as follows:
$3.00 for evening events (after 5:00 p.m.)
$5.00 for up to eight hours
$7.00 for over eight hours (until 7:00 a.m. of next day)
Individuals may also purchase parking permits from our self-service kiosk stations. Please check all parking signs for current rate information.
Many of our classrooms and meeting rooms are equipped with a built-in LCD projector, screen, VGA laptop connectivity, and an audio system. Use of our built-in audio/visual equipment and up to 15 total minutes of AV assistance, for all spaces reserved by a single group, is included with your room rental. Additional AV assistance is available at the rate of $50.00 per hour per AV tech. For more robust programs, additional AV services may be provided at an additional cost. AV techs, at the rate of $50.00 per hour per tech, are required for groups using the Rizza Auditorium.
Cal Maritime offers free Guest Wi-Fi! On your device's Wi-Fi settings, select ‘cma guest' then create a temporary login using your name, phone number, mobile carrier and email address. You will then receive an email with your temporary username and password.
