PeopleSoft FAQs

Q: How do I request access to PeopleSoft?
A: Students are automatically granted the appropriate access to PeopleSoft so they can search the class schedule, register, view their class schedule, and update their address and phone.

Staff and Faculty are required to complete two forms, the Computer Account Access Form and the PeopleSoft System Access Request Form.  Both forms are located on the IT Forms webpage.

The Computer Account Access Form must be signed by the faculty or staff member's appropriate administrator. The PeopleSoft System Access Request Form must be signed by the faculty or staff member's appropriate administrator and by the Director of Human Resources.  Both forms must then be submitted to the Information Security Officer.

Before access is granted to faculty or staff, they must complete the CSU Information Security Awareness Training online workshop; please contact the Information Security Officer to obtain the web address (i.e., URL).  Upon submission of both forms and completion of the workshop, access will be granted.

Q: What do I do if I can't log into PeopleSoft?
A. Try to log into your email to make sure it is not a more wide-spread problem.  Then call the Help Desk at (707) 654-1048 to determine if there is a problem with your network account. Describe the problem: that you cannot log into PeopleSoft and you can/cannot log into email. 

Q: How to former students get access to PeopleSoft?
A: Send an email request to peoplesofttickets@csum.edu.  Be sure to include your full name, student ID number, and approximate dates of attendance.

Q: What is the campus PeopleSoft maintenance schedule?
A: Maintenance windows are Tuesdays from 6:00PM to 10:00PM unless otherwise advertised.
