Outside Scholarships

We've found these websites to be helpful in searching for scholarship funds. This will invlove seraching these websites frequently (once every three months as deadline dates can spread throughout the year). Keep a copy of your most current unofficial college transcript, letters of recommendation from faculty and employers, and a well written cover letter that states your educational goals, career goals and financial situation. You can always update the letter to suit the criteria of specific scholarships.

There are two caveats: Do not ever pay a fee to apply for a scholarship and never give your Date of Birth and/or Social Security Number to anyone.
