The Department of Human Resources offers a variety of training and professional development opportunities for employees to enhance their skillds in their current jobs and to help prepare for growth opportunities and career advancement. The course curriculum is diverse, well-rounded, and designed to develop and enhance essential workplace skills, increase job effectiveness, and programs to help balance your personal and professional life.

Designated Faculty, Staff, and MPP Employees may be required to complete various compliance and required training based on their role with the University. Based on your requirements, automated assignment emails and reminders will be sent from the Skillport Learning Management System with information about the required course and the due date for completing the training.

Work/Life Balance/Future Planning
Most of us manage our lives successfully. There are times, however, when personal problems interfere with relationships, job performance, and physical health. Everyone can benefit from help when these difficulties arise. The Department of Human Resources offers FREE and confidential counseling and referral services via the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), administered by Managed Health Network (MHN).
Tuition Fee Waiver
Take advantage of the Fee Waiver Program! Eligible faculty and staff employees can attend classes at CSU campuses systemwide at reduced rates. Eligible faculty and staff who do not wish to take advantage of this benefit may transfer the benefit to a spouse, registered domestic partner, or dependent child (in accordance with the appropriate bargaining unit contract.
