Make-Up Testing in SEAS
On a space-available basis, the SEAS Center offers occasional proctoring for make-up exams for students who are unable to make the originally scheduled exam date with their instructor due to extenuating circumstances (prolonged illness, death in the family, etc.). This is not a guaranteed resource, but a service offered to Cal Maritime students as SEAS staffing and room allows. For more information, please download the SEAS Center Make-Up Exam Request Form.
Off-Campus (Third-Party) Test Administration Protocol
Effective March 9, 2015, SEAS will charge a fee of $50 per student per exam for administering exams from external entities not affiliated with Cal Maritime or the California State University system. Proctoring services will be offered exclusively to currently enrolled Cal Maritime cadets, staff, faculty, and admitted freshmen who have submitted an enrollment agreement and a final high school transcript.
SEAS will offer proctoring services at established times each week. Students with confirmed academic exceptions who cannot complete their exam during one of these established times can submit a request to SEAS for consideration. However, it is not guaranteed that requests will be accommodated.
For further information about third-party exam administration, please contact Gaema Obenchain at firstname.lastname@example.org.
