Tutoring Services

Purpose

Tutoring Services provide opportunities for cadets to develop subject area competency, confidence, and efficacy through interactive discussions with peer cadet tutors. Tutors supplement classroom instruction by clarifying faculty expectations and core concepts; reviewing materials and lecture notes; providing positive, low-risk conditions for guided practice; and helping peers prepare for examinations.

Tutoring Services for Fall 2020 officially begins Tuesday, September 1,2020.

Virtual Tutoring Appointments

In spring of 2020, Tutoring Services transitioned to virtual appointments to ensure social distancing amid the then-emerging COVID-19 pandemic. In lieu of drop-in laboratory hours, cadets may schedule Zoom meetings with tutors in every subject at mutually convenient times via The Passport (some subjects available seven days per week).

Note: Tutoring Services only available online for Fall 2020 semester!
