Stan Hebert has been named Cal Maritime's interim vice president for Student Affairs. Hebert has extensive experience, having served in various leadership roles at California State University, East Bay, including associate vice president of Student Affairs, dean of Students, and acting vice president of Student Affairs.

Students from California State University Maritime Academy departed the School's Vallejo Campus shortly after 8:00 a.m. this morning. The Training Ship Golden Bear, Cal Maritime's 500-foot training vessel, has scheduled stops in Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Saipan, Hawaii, and San Diego.
