Community Guidelines and Proper Conduct

Social media has rapidly evolved over the last decade, and so has public discourse. We encourage the general public and campus community to stay engaged with the University and build relationships while learning about upcoming events and activities. PASC strives to create an online environment that is welcoming, mutually respectful and inclusive, consistent with the University’s commitment to diversity, as we look to engage with the public though our flagship social media channels. Additionally, cadets are required to adhere to the standard of professionalism and conduct outlined in the Cadet Handbook, that extends online and into the world of social media. Please see Page 49, Chapter 5: "Conduct and Ethical Development" for reference.

You are free to discuss and disagree with others regarding topics relevant to the purpose of the social media platform, but please do not use ethnic and racial slurs, hateful speech, personal attacks, abusive language, nudity, or pornography. PASC reserves the right to block or remove the content of any post that violates California State University's (CSU) Nondiscrimination Policy.

For your own personal safety, please refrain from posting personally identifying information, as your comments are visible to the public.
