Early Monday afternoon, seismic engineers from the California State University Chancellor's Office completed a detailed inspection of campus buildings and grounds. They report no damage to the campus and that Cal Maritime buildings are completely safe for normal operations.

Their findings confirm what the University's facilities staff had earlier determined.

There has been no impact to Cal Maritime's schedule of fall classes. All activities remain at their previously scheduled times.
