Ahoy!
TS Golden Bear arrived in San Diego on Sunday morning, just in time for Mother's Day. The voyage down south was quick and smooth. Warm and sunny weather greeted us and it sure is starting to feel like summer! Our schedule for San Diego was jam packed: a vessel audit, two receptions, a visit from US Navy SSO Leadership, recruitment tours, media visits, and a few recreational activities were all on the books. Many of our cadets call San Diego home, or have close family connections to the area. All were excited to spend a couple fun days here.
I think we all felt the same as this Cadet!
