Cal Maritime is open to all admitted and prospective students for in-person campus tours (by appointment only). We continue to offer virtual versions of campus tours and admission information sessions until campus pandemic policies allow all visitors back on our campus.

We are open for in-person campus tours to admitted and prospective students on select days each month.  Please note, our tours will be by appointment only and led by cadets (counselors in summer months).  We ask that these requests by made at least three business days in advance.

FILL OUT THE IN-PERSON TOUR RESERVATION FORM

  • Most of the tour will be outdoors while walking around.  The guided portion will be in the campus core, but there are also campus vistas and our Athletics Center available to visit. The Training Ship Golden Bear is not availabile during the campus tour due to summer sea training.
  • While residence halls will be visible during the tour, it is not possible to tour through a residence hall or individual room. We encourage you to view virtual tours of our residence halls online. 
  • Each tour member must verify being without COVID-19 symptoms and no exposure to anyone with COVID-19 in the past two weeks via a web questionnaire the day of the tour. 
  • We are limiting family tour groups to four people including the admitted student and ask that all tour members are at least age 6 and up.

  • Virtual Visits are by appointment and are 30 minutes and occur M-F at 10:30am, 3:00pm and 6:00pm.
  • Please make reservations at least two business days in advance
  • After your reservation is received and confirmed, you will receive a Zoom link for your Virtual Visit with an admission counselor

  • Virtual Visits are by appointment and are 30 minutes long. They are offered between 9am and 3pm based on the best schedule for both parties. 
  • Please make reservations at least one week in advance
  • After your reservation is received and confirmed, you will receive a Zoom link for your school's Virtual Visit with an admission counselor

  • In-Person campus tours for school groups (up to 50 persons) are offered M-F 
  • The best time to schedule your visit is an 11am-12pm campus tour. Other times can be accomodated upon request, but are subject to tour-guide avaliability. 
  • The request includes a 30 minute presentation with an Admissions Counselor prior to your tour.
  • The Training Ship Golden Bear and Dining Services are not avaliable for campus tours at this time.

You can use the links above to schedule an in-person, cadet-led tour or  online admission information session with an admission counselor. Limited appointment availability means that online sessions may include other prospective students. Topics in the presentation include our school's unique and successful educational style, our seven majors, campus life, admission requirements, costs & financial aid, and our students' high levels of success upon graduation.

CAL MARITIME DAY

Cal Maritime Day is scheduled for Saturday April 23, 2022. This exclusive open house will be a treasure of information for incoming students on topics ranging from majors, career opportunities, travel, campus activities and clubs, cadet participation in the Corps of Cadets and more!
