Ahoy!

Following our departure from San Diego, we hit a bit of weather and a few of us have not been feeling our best. We are still working on our sea legs, okay?! Others were just tired from having too much fun in port...so overall, the ship has been a little quieter than usual. Today, we are ~back in business~ and getting into a good routine before we reach Kauai in a little over a week!

On the docket this next week is lots of daywork, classroom rotations, watchstanding, and a weekly F&B "fire and boat" (aka Fire Drill and Abandon Ship Drill), along with a BBQ if the weather permits and Port Briefs prior to our visit to Kauai. We will also begin setting our clocks back an hour every few days, as we will cross the International Date Line soon after we depart Kauai.

Working in Focsle

Some of our deck classes are held in interesting spaces aboard TSGB, like the Focsle or "green room".

Rainbow!
