Ahoy!

We have reached our fifth and final port of Summer Sea Term 2025 - the Emerald City! The weather has been magnificent for our visit and there has been much activity on the ship, and among the cadets and staff. We hosted two receptions during our quick visit, had media aboard, and have given numerous tours each day. Cadets have been getting out and exploring the city when not on watch or daywork. This has been the perfect port to finish off a successful and fun Summer Sea Term and we are looking forward to returning home on July 6th, following our departure from Seattle tomorrow, July 1st.

We were all excited and ready for a much needed break after two weeks underway :)

This will be our final Follow the Voyage post for Summer Sea Term 2025, and we would like to say THANK YOU to everyone who has read the blog this summer. It has been a great trip for all with many highlights and we are grateful we have been able to share it with the world. Even though things are changing around here, Follow the Voyage will continue on, and we look forward to posting our adventures next year!

Fair winds and following seas...
