International Opportunities

International Experiences

Each year, ISS students have the opportunity to take part in a Cal Maritime-led International Experience to expose them to new cultures and understandings beyond the borders of the United States. Every ISS student must complete an International Experience before graduating.

Some recent International Experience destinations include:

  • Morocco
  • The Danube and Rhine Rivers in Europe
  • Vietnam 
  • China
  • South Africa
  • Japan

CSU International Programs 

All Cal Maritime students can also take part in the CSU's International Programs for study abroad for a semester or year. Click here for more information about those specific opportunities.
