Our Mission
Your Keelhauler Shops Campus Store is an independent entity operated by the California State University Maritime Academy. Our mission is to support and enhance the campus life and educational experience of the students, faculty, and staff of the California State University Maritime Academy. Our role is to provide for the academic needs of the campus by providing course materials, apparel and gifts, school supplies, and other merchandise. All purchases made at our locations support Cal Maritime programs, students, faculty and staff. We are located next to Mayo Hall at the end of Parking Lot D.
What We Offer
Textbooks and course supplies for the Fall semester will be available for purchase at your Keelhauler Shops Campus Store beginning in August. We have several savings options, such as offering used cheaper copies, or offering titles that may be available to rent. At the end of each semester, during Finals Week, we also have a Buyback program when students may sell their unwanted textbooks for cash. In addition to textbooks and course supplies, your Keelhauler Shops has a wide selection of Cal Maritime Keelhauler apparel and gift merchandise. We also offer residence hall essentials, health and beauty products, a variety of food and drinks, and other items a Cal Maritime cadet may need.
On-Campus Employment
We are very proud to hire students part-time during the academic year. We are flexible in scheduling and provide on-the-job customer service training. It is our belief that on-campus employment benefits students by training them with life and career skills, and fostering a motivated and positive work ethic.
