Cal Maritime has been ranked as No. 1 for earnings performance in Washington Monthly’s “2023 Best Bang for the Buck Rankings: West.” Washington Monthly launched their exclusive list of rankings on Sunday, Aug. 27 that highlights colleges and universities that help non-wealthy students attain marketable degrees at affordable prices. California State University (CSU) campuses dominated the “Best Bang for the Buck” schools in the West list, with Cal Maritime being ranked among the top 10 schools where students of modest means get the most for their money.
ABOUT CAL MARITIME
Established in 1929, California State University Maritime Academy is the only degree-granting
maritime academy on the West Coast. Located in Vallejo, California, the campus offers
undergraduate degrees that prepare students for careers in engineering, transportation,
