Summer Internship Program

(Cooperative Education)

The purpose of the Summer Internship Program is to integrate classroom studies with academic related work experience. All non-licensed cadets must participate in an internship as required by their major and are designed for students who have completed two or three years of coursework. Each internship provides a great opportunity to develop the skills learned in the classroom; while allowing cadets the opportunity to immerse themselves in the culture of a company, within their area of focus.

Students participating in the Summer Internship Program include the following majors:

  • International Business and Logistics (IBL)
  • International Strategy and Security (ISS)
  • Mechanical Engineering (ME)
  • Facilities Engineering Technology (FET)
  • Oceanography (OCN)
