Faculty Guide to Understanding Service Learning Placements

Step 1: Become familiar with service learning, especially the Guiding Principles for Reducing Risk in Service Learning.

Step 2: Select a site from the pre-approved Community Partner list.

Step 3: Required Service Learning Plan completed by student.

Step 4:Be sure to follow up with Community Partner on student activities.

Step 5: Student completes Time Log and Reflection.
