The Pride in Maritime Summit planning committee has begun planning for the 2nd annual Pride in Maritime Summit (PiMS) tentatively slated for Oct 18th-19th. The Pride in Maritime Summit's purpose is to bring together maritime industry professionals, educators, cadets, and advocates to engage in meaningful discussions about diversity, belonging, and the advancement of LGBTQ+ representation within the maritime sector. This year the summit aims to conceptualize “People, Planet, Profession”. Together, we’ll explore the impacts of the maritime industry on society, the environment, and the professional landscape, fostering dialogue and collaboration for positive change. The summit planning committee is looking for alumni and industry partners interested in supporting and engaging on these topics.
