(Vallejo, California – January 31, 2017) –For the sixth year, Cal Maritime is presenting a conference focused on supporting the success of women in maritime, transportation, and related industries. Now known as Women in Maritime Leadership, the two-day conference will be held at Cal Maritime on March 10-11, with some pre-conference activities scheduled for March 9.

 
This year, presenters include Vice Admiral Jody A. Breckenridge, commander of Coast Guard Pacific Area – a command that encompasses 73,000,000 square miles from the Pacific Basin to the Far East.  Author, business consultant, and corporate trainer Tiana Sanchez will also address the conference. 
 
Women in Maritime Leadership is open to anyone interested in attending and will feature programming for current and future students, recent graduates, and mid-career professionals. The conference offers career development opportunities, networking, and leadership training for women and those who support them in the industry.
